The Buddyrider will be back in stock in the spring of 2025.
The Buddyrider has been specially developed in Canada for dogs up to 12 kg. There are so many advantages compared to a regular bike basket or bike trailer! Your dog can see everything up front and will find this much more pleasant, you also have better contact with your dog so it will feel more comfortable and you dont have any extra weight on the handlebars.
This Dachshund bicycle seat, or a seat for other dogs, is attached to the seat post with the mounting bracket. This way, you have no weight on the handlebars and cycling with your dog is not hard. When you don't want to use the Dachshund bicycle seat, you can simply slide it out of the mounting bracket. You do not have to take it off the seat post all the time. Your dog can choose to sit with his paws in front of the handlebar, or to lie down with his paws on the plateau. There is a bracket on the back so your dog cannot get out and besides that, you can secure it with the safety belt.

Does the Buddyrider fit on my bike?
On the picture below, you can see that the minimum distance between the seat post and the handlebar should be 48,5 cm. These are the distances for most regular bicycles. There are a number of bicycles with unusual frames, for instance comfort bicycles with a high steering position in relation to the saddle. Here, there is a chance that the Buddyrider will lie on the handlebar and you will not be able to steer freely. To be able to mount the mounting bracket, a space on the seatpost of at least 4 cm is required.

Please note:
1. The Buddyrider should not be mounted on a carbon seat post;
2. The Buddyrider cannot be mounted on a suspension seat post;
2. The Buddyrider is not suitable for bicycles with a straight seat post.
Other
A ladies' bike has a low bar, which makes it possible to get on in front of the saddle. With the Buddyrider, you can only get on the bike by putting your leg over the saddle like on a men's bike or mountain bike. Adjust the seat height of your saddle so that you can touch the ground with both feet.
